Home

Last weekend my wonderful family came to help us turn our weed patch into a lawn. Dan and I bought a forclosure so no one had taken care of the lawn for about 2 years. The guy that built the home only used it for 2 weeks before he was killed in a car accident...(yikes, right? but as long as he didn't die inside I'm ok. :) so the house is hardly lived in. It feels like a brand new home, but the lawn was something left to be desired. This is how it looked after my AWESOME family came and ripped out the old half dead sod and weeds that looked like a pasture. I should have taken some pictures before but it was just so ugly.

You can see the blessed sod truck down the road!!

As we were laying down the sod of couple of the deacons from Dan's class stopped by and helped and soon it seemed like our whole ward was there. We love our new ward and were so grateful for the help. Now I finally have somewhere to sit outside. --Now, if I can get my family to come back and pull out the backyard we'll really be in good shape. :)

We love our new little home!
